Fall to winter
Seasons change and so does my life. One long summer of heartache and sickness and I find myself back to where I began. A little bit rougher on the edges and a whole lot more jaded. Cheers to the seasons, let winter begin!

Times are a changin'
A little time has passed since my last post, but a lot has changed. I'll begin with Salt Lake City. After being pushed and prodded by my good friend, Jack Coghlan, I was fortunate enough to score a plane ticket to watch the final stop of the Grand Prix snowboarding comp. Great powder conditions and three days of shred time was a great escape from my current snow-less paradise. Is there a such thing as too much powder? hah, NO. The Park City Acadamy team were great hosts, nights filled with BBQ and good company. During my time there, I had a photo sess. with Huggy and the Park City snowboard team. It was awesome to catch up with the Coghlan's and made me miss working together. Who knows, I may be headed to SLC to stay a while in the coming years...
Jumping ahead to earlier this February, my luck changed on the job front and I scored a sweet position as a photo assistant at a local surf company in San Clemente! The people at Swell are awesome and I can't wait to see where this all heads to in the future.
Between my travels and training my lease was up and I moved up the hill into a nice little on bedroom with Hugs. It's small, but quite and there's hot tubs, pools, bubbling brooks and, best of all, a washer and dryer!

New Year, New Beginnings
Through some stoke of genius, I will overcome my procrastination of the past few decades to focus with full intent on improving my life and well-being this new year. Taking full responsibility for my actions, to overcome all obsticles set before me, my new years goals will be taken seriously. SO here they are, listed in some sort of importance, just not sure yet since often times my best work is accomplished through a multi-task methodology.
1. get a new car(somehow)
2. take ahold of my career and pursue "jobs" that only bring me happiness along with substantial cash flow.
3. make my webisite, hbakerphoto.com come into being by the end of Jan.
4. Yoga everyweek.
Once these have been accomplished I will delve further into the list, but for now, this will be my focus. Keep ya posted on the progress, ha.
